Every child deserves a safe place to grow, learn, and dream. At Julia Children Foundation, this belief fuels every effort we make. Founded in 2020 by Musinguzi Julius, the foundation grew out of his personal experiences with hardship, discrimination, and financial struggle. Today, those challenges have shaped a powerful mission: to uplift Uganda’s most vulnerable children and offer them the life opportunities they deserve.
More than 120 disadvantaged and disabled children currently benefit from our programs. From providing nutritious meals and clothing to offering healthcare, education, and safe housing, the foundation ensures no child feels forgotten. Many of these children have survived homelessness, deep poverty, and emotional trauma — yet with consistent support, they are learning to thrive.
Our long-term vision includes building a permanent shelter that will house more children and empower them to pursue education and skills training. Thanks to growing global support, we continue expanding our impact across Uganda and beyond.
